THE ROLE
You’re not just managing a hotel—you’re the heartbeat of the operation. From revenue and guest experience to facilities and staffing, you lead it all. We have a small team, so you are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and executing any task from cleaning rooms to changing light bulbs. While this is a 24/7 business, you’ll have the flexibility to build strong systems and a supportive team to keep it sustainable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business & Strategy

• Drive revenue, occupancy, and profitability with support from ownership
• Build and manage the annual budget and business plan
• Track financial performance, forecasting, and market competitiveness
• Working with marketing agency on strategies and campaigns for slow season

Operations

• Lead (and execute) daily hotel functions: housekeeping, guest services, maintenance, vendors
• Manage (and participate in) a 24/7 team to cover late-night guest needs and emergencies
• Oversee all building systems: tech, security, plumbing, HVAC, repairs
• Use platforms like Cloudbeds, Whistle, Expedia, Booking.com, and keyless entry tools to streamline workflow
• Ensure hotel is clean, safe, functional, and on-brand

Guest Experience & Sales

• Oversee the full guest journey—from booking to review
• Elevate guest ratings with strong systems and personalized service
• Create and execute loyalty, birthday, and long-term guest programs
• Secure group, corporate, and extended-stay bookings

Marketing & Community Engagement

• Help shape the Crash brand voice online and in-person
• Support social media, email, and website content
• Build partnerships with tourism, local businesses, and event organizers

People & Culture

• Hire, train, and lead a small, high-performing team
• Create a fun, inclusive, and professional work environment
• Ensure WorkSafeBC compliance and team safety
• Use perks, incentives, and leadership to inspire team performance

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years experience in hotel or property management; housekeeping; boutique or independent hotel experience is a plus
• Education in hospitality, business, marketing, or a related field is an asset
• Tech-savvy, creative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Available for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Located in Squamish is a plus– relocating and finding housing in Squamish can be difficult
